January 25, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated Hosting provider The Planet (theplanet.com) announced on Friday it has relaunched its most popular promotion after receiving an overwhelming customer response, available through January 31, or until supplies last.

The Double Down promotion offers customers twice the RAM, hard-drive space or bandwidth, for free. Customers can choose from a select range of servers from The Planet’s many plans.

“Our sales team has received a tremendous amount of positive customer feedback on the Double Down promotion and requests for its return,” says Urvish Vashi, director of product management with The Planet. “As a customer-driven company, we’re responding to those requests.”

The Planet announced earlier this week it is offering a new savings promotion that makes customers eligible for a selection of performance and backup updates to their servers at no additional cost.
